The FT64 are very reliable, high quality air-insulated pole mounted
disconnectors. They are available with rated voltages from 12 to
36kV and rated currents 400 or 630A suitable for vertical installation.
The base frames are welded from sectional steel. The
operating shafts are made of bronze and are hot-dip galvanized.
All insulators used for construction are made of cycloaliphatic
epoxy resin all others are made of epoxy resin (colour
brown, RAL 8017). The double disconnecting blades are
made of silver-plated electrolytic copper and form a
loopless current path.
The FT64 is available in following versions:
- FT 6400 - disconnector
without fuse holder
- FT 6410 - disconnector with fuse holder
The FT64 can
be delivered with an integrated earthing switch or with
spark quenching horns suitable for disconnecting low
currents.
The disconnectors comply with the specifications
of VDE 0670 Part 2 (rated insulation level List 2) and
are designed for use under normal operating conditions.
