The ISOVAC is a three-phase fixed-type fully integrated, spatially optimized lateral vacuum circuit breaker for front panel mounting in compact medium voltage metal-enclosed switchgear compatible with the IV2000 switchgear series.
The ISOVAC is a modular type VCB integrating a circuit breaker module, a switch-disconnector module, an earth-switch module, a current sensor/current transformer (CT) module and an interlocked operation mechanism into an integrated, multifunctional product.
The ISOVAC series comprises of the types ISOVAC-S and the ISOVAC-M. The ISOVAC-S is driven by a conventional spring-mechanism wheras the ISOVAC-M is driving by a permanent-magnet actuator.
With its high performance and the compact dimensions the ISOVAC is suitable for a wide variety of applications on primary and secondary power distribution systems.
The vacuum circuit breakers are successfully type tested at KEMA according to IEC 62271-100.
